Pantycelyn Hall report "needs to be implemented without further delay"

In response to the report on a consultation on the future Pantycelyn halls of residence in Aberystwyth Pantycelyn branch of Cymdeithas yr Iaith said it is not surprised with the findings and that they need to be implemented as soon as possible.

Jeff Smith, a member of Cell Pantycelyn said:

"Overall the report confirms what we have been campaigning for. The report is quite clear in its recommendations. Not only does the report call for the reopening of the hall as soon as possible but there are specific details about social spaces, the structure, the need for a large number of bedrooms, catering and so on. We expect the University to act on that and look forward to seeing the University's plans for the hall, and for its response to the report."
