Mae Cymdeithas yr Iaith wedi croesawu cyhoeddiad yr adroddiad a gyhoeddwyd heddiw gan yr Is-bwyllgor Datblygu Gwledig ar ad-drefnu ysgolion gwledig. Mae'r Gymdeithas yn benodol yn croesawu y sylwadau y dylai Awdurdodau Lleol gymeryd y broses o ymgynghori gyda chymunedau lleol o ddifrif ac y dylai effaith unrhyw ad-drefnu ar yr iaith Gymraeg fod yn brif ffactor wrth gymeryd penderfyniad.
Pwyswch yma i ddarllen copi llawn o'r adroddiad (Saesneg yn unig - Dogfen Word, 244kb)Dywed yr adroddiad:"7.6 If local authorities are to remain in charge of schools in Walesthen they must win back public trust and confidence in their processesand engage in an honest debate with local communities."Mae'r argymhellion yn cynnwys:Recommendation 7: The Committee recommends that the Welsh AssemblyGovernment develops a code of practice for consultation and meaningfulcommunity engagement which should be followed by local authorities inmanaging this process.Recommendation 9: The Welsh Assembly Government in their revisedguidance should clarify and formalise the roles of all stakeholders inthe closure process.
