Where does your money go?
Our members are an essential part of maintaining our mission to promote and ensure the future of the Welsh language as a community language in all parts of Wales. Unlike many organisations, we operate without government grants or external financial support, relying entirely on the generosity of our members and supporters.
Community Engagement: Membership fees support grassroots activities, including local meetings, workshops and events.
Operational Costs: Contributions help cover essential operational costs, such as employing full-time staff, maintaining communication channels, running campaigns and supporting members who are an integral part of our activities.
Independence and Integrity: By relying entirely on members' contributions, we maintain our independence, allowing us to campaign for the Welsh language and our communities and hold organizations accountable without external influence as part of that.
Member benefits:
-
Be part of an active community
-
Get access to our magazine 'Y Tafod'
-
You can vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on proposed decisions and voice your opinion on decisions that will influence the direction of our work for years to come
