By opening the register in the Urdd 2009, we aim to build the momentum towards establishing this new institution. Right from the start, students and lecturers must feel ownership over the Welsh language Coleg Ffederal.'Children and young people who have been visiting the Cymdeithas stand during the week have been taking part in a competition to design a coat of arms for the new Welsh language Coleg Ffederal.Menna Machreth said further:'This is an opportunity for future students and lecturers to commit to the vision for Welsh medium higher education. The aim of the Coleg is to create a national Welsh medium academnic community, through a structure which will have an independant funding stream.'
