Peter Black, Assembly Member for South Wales West said:"Welsh Liberal Democrats believe that broadcasting in Wales has suffered due to a lack of proper scrutiny. We believe that there is a role for the Welsh Assembly and the Welsh Government in holding broadcasters to account and regulating the way that they operate. That is why we very much support additional powers being devolved from Westminster to facilitate that work."Leader of Swansea Council Chris Holley said:"I support the idea that the people of Wales should have a greater input into decisions effecting radio and television services in Wales."
