First trial over S4C for 30 years

The first trial over the future Welsh TV channel S4C for thirty years will held this Thursday (7th July).It is alleged that two language campaigners, Jamie Bevan from Merthyr Tudful, and Heledd Melangell Williams from Nant Peris, broke into the office of Cardiff North MP Jonathan Evans, and painted a slogan on the wall of the building. The language group Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg says that the non-violent action was part of the campaign against government plans to cut their grant to S4C by 94% and merge the channel with the BBC.A rally will be held before the court case, with Leanne Wood AM and Gareth Miles addressing the crowd.When?
