Terms of Use

Please note:

  1. that Cymdeithas yr Iaith (an unincorporated association) (Cymdeithas) does not authorise any substantial amendments to the Standard Scheme Clause (Sales) (house either with or without land) or to the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (house either with or without land) or to the Standard Scheme Clause (Sales) (undeveloped land) or to the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (undeveloped land) (and that the latest version of the relevant clause or document should be used on the occasion of each sale or self-covenanting);

  2. that Cymdeithas shall neither be a party to nor sign or execute any contract or transfer, into which the Standard Scheme Clause (Sales) (house either with or without land) or the Standard Scheme Clause (Sales) (undeveloped land) is inserted, nor sign or execute any subsequent deed of covenant;

  3. that Cymdeithas shall not sign any deed of covenant in the form of the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (house either with or without land) or the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (undeveloped land) or any subsequent deed of covenant;

  4. that Cymdeithas shall not be obliged to enforce any covenant, contained in the Standard Scheme Clause (Sales) (house either with or without land) or in the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (house either with or without land) or in the Standard Scheme Clause (Sales) (undeveloped land) or in the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (undeveloped land), in the context of any contract, transfer, deed of covenant or any other document;

  5. that the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (house either with or without land) or the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (undeveloped land) should not be used in in relation to (a) any property without checking that no condition or conditions of any mortgage or charge on that property would be breached by the completion of a deed of covenant, based on the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (house either with or without land) or on the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (undeveloped land), or by the registration of the restriction, to which reference is made in that deed of covenant, or (b) unregistered land; and

  6. that Cymdeithas shall not be responsible for nor accept any liability for any use of the Standard Scheme Clause (Sales) (house either with or without land) or of the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (house either with or without land) or of the Standard Scheme Clause (Sales) (undeveloped land) or of the Standard Scheme Document (Self-covenanting) (undeveloped land).
