Members of Cymdeithas Yr Iaith in Ceredigion have expressed their dissapointment following a meeting with MP Mark Williams on Tuesday the 28th of September, because they failed to receive an unconditional promise from him that he would vote against any cuts to S4C's budget.

Ahead of today's meeting of Ceredigion Council's Cabinet to discuss changing the process for reviewing the future of village schools, Cymdeithas yr Iaith have called for the decision to be made by the Full Council.Cymdeithas yr Iaith condemn as negative the whole concept of singling out individual schools for review and favour instead positively reviewing all schools area by area to see how they can be positively developed.
